Charger Firmware Update (Password-Protected): Opens the application that allows the
user to update the firmware of the Guardio/Vesta Charger using the Intelio Programmer,
the Charger Bootstrap Cable, and a USB flash drive containing the Guardio/Vesta
Charger firmware. It is to be used by Impulse Dynamics technical staff only and is not
needed for regular clinical use.

Shutdown: Tapping the red Shutdown button on the Selector screen shuts off the Intelio
Programmer.

2.2 Basic Operation of the Optimizer Smart Mini Programmer Application
When the Optimizer Smart Mini button is selected from the Selector screen, the Intelio
Programmer will first display an Impulse Dynamics splash-screen while the Optimizer Smart Mini
Programmer application boots up. When the application boot up process is completed, the Intelio
Programmer screen will display the Optimizer Smart Mini Programmer application. This
application can be used to interrogate and program the OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG.
The basic operation of the Optimizer Smart Mini Programmer application includes the following:
2.2.1 Communication with the OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG
Before the clinician can use the Intelio Programmer to program the OPTIMIZER Smart
Mini IPG, a communication link must first be established between the Intelio Programmer
and the patient's implanted OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG.
This is accomplished by first placing the Intelio Programming Wand directly over the
patient's OPTIMIZER Smart Mini implant site (over the patient's clothes).
After the Intelio Programming Wand is placed over the patient's implant site, a
communication link must be established by initiating the Start OPTIlink command.
Once this communication link is established, the clinician can use the Optimizer Smart
Mini Programmer application to perform various basic operations.
