14.8.4 Seating Control
Seating mode can be entered from the User Menu via an
operation of the User Switch (Fig 14.9). The Omni will
sequentially scan through each available actuator 'axis'
(Fig 14.10) and then finish with an 'Exit' option (Fig 14.13) to
return to Drive, the User Menu or the next sequential function.
If the User Switch is operated when one of the actuator axes
are shown, a new scanning sequence will begin. The Omni
will step through, 'up' (Fig 14.11) 'down' (Fig 14.12) and
'exit' (Fig 14.13) choices. Each option can then be selected
with an operation of the User Switch.
The scanning rate of the actuator axes is set to approximately
1 second and cannot be altered through programing.
14.8.5 Associated Programing
It is possible to set up the Omni so that the functions can be
navigated audibly. This can be useful if the user cannot easily
always see the Omni's screen.
