IPMI SOL (OPTIONAL)

IPMI SOL is an optional method of establishing a serial console connection to
enable the console installation of a Linux operating system onto the server and
is used instead of a terminal emulator program. IPMItool is open source and
information on its use is available online. IPMI SOL allows the user to install the
operating system through the use of IPMItool commands.

Beginning a IPMI SOL session on the PC:

1. Access the IPMItool directory.
2. Type the following command to obtain the BMC IP address.
