Defining a Static IP Address (DHCP Server is Unavailable)
The network's Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server is the
primary method used to assign an IP address automatically during the boot
process; however, if the network's DHCP server is not available, a static IP
address must be assigned.
These instructions guide the user in defining a static IP address for the
VSS2249RQ Storage Server when the DHCP server is not available.
1. Return to the terminal emulator application established on the PC. The
