SERVER POWER CONFIGURATION

The VSSEP1EC Server Module includes a power button and a CPU reset
button that enable the user to control server power independently of the system
power or remaining server module.
Power & CPU Reset Actions
Power and CPU reset buttons are identified in Figure 5.2.

Press each the button for the amount of time specified in Table 5.2, depending
on the desired functionality.

CPU Reset
User Action
Press and hold the power button for 4 seconds
or longer, and then release it to immediately
power OFF the server module without software
intervention.
Press and hold the power button momentarily,
and then release it to initiate normal shutdown
actions.
Press and hold the power button momentarily,
and then release it to turn power ON to the
server module.
Press and hold the CPU reset button
momentarily, and then release it to reset the
server module.
