Power on and log on at the operator console. Refer to the 3745 Basic Operations
Guide. This screen is displayed:
FUNCTI ON SELECTI ON RULES
TO SELECT ONE OF THE MENUS, PRESS THE APPROPRIATE F KEY
TO SELECT A FUNCTI ON, ENTER ITS 3-CHARACTER NAME THEN PRESS SEND
ONCE YOU HAVE SELECTED A FUNCTION FROM ONE MENU, YOU MAY SELECT
A FUNCTION FROM THE OTHER
TO END THE FUNCTI ON ON SCREEN, PRESS F1
TO RETURN TO THE PENDING FUNCTION, PRESS F2
TO LOG OFF, ENTER OFF THEN PRESS SEND

Check if there is an alarm related to your problem.
• If there is an alarm related to your
probl~m,
perform the action required for
that alarm (see Chapter 1).
• If there is no alarm related to your problem, go to next step.

Check visually that:
• The LlC is operational (not in use with a PKO). The green lamp should be on.
If not, ask the host operator to activate the line if possible.
- When the green light is on, OTR is on.
- When the yellow light is on, the LlC is faulty.
- When green and yellow lights are
blin~ing,
the L1C has been plugged into
the wrong slot.
- To check the lights, plug in the PKD (refer to Figure 9-3 on page 9-38 for
connection); press the Go or Stop key; then the green and yellow lights
shou I'd be on.
- When the PKO is connected, if a L1C5 or L1C6 is misplugged, the message
'WRONG SLOT' is displayed on the PKO.
• The LlC is correctly configured. See the 3745 Connection and Integration
Guide.
