Remote Console Problems
Permanent Ringing
Ask the local operator to check
If

Associated telephone set is not ringing
and on-hook.
Local or RSF console is active.
At control panel, console mode is 3 (and
local console is logged on) or 1.
Local modem for remote console is not
powered on, operational, and in
auto-answer status.
3745 modem cable is not correctly
plugged in.

• Verify the telephone number.
• If there is no tone when off-hook,
check the telephone line
connections at the 3745 end.
