Do one of the following:
.• If there is a spare L1C, go to step 9.
• If there is no spare L1C, but spare port(s) are defined for failing lines:
Perform a port swap.
- Refer to the 3745 Advanced Operations Guide.
• If the problem persists:

Do the following:
• Replace the faulty L1C. Refer to the 3745 Connection and Integration Guide.
• Configure the new L1C, as described in the 3745 Connection and Integralion
Guide.
• Follow steps 4, 5, 6, and 7.
- If the test is not successful, the L1C is still faulty,

- If the test is successful, reactivate the lines.
