SAM BOOST™ WITH SMART NOZZLE N
It is recommended to install pressure transducer connectors oriented between 45° to
90° from horizontal to allow drainage and avoid sediment build-up.

TANK-TO-PUMP VALVE INSTALLATION
The SAM Boost™ System includes either a 3" or 4" Electric Boost™ Valve programmed for use with system.
Follow the steps below for valve installation:

Locate the original equipment valve,
□
Remove control elements at the valve & control panel,
□
Disconnect any drain lines as necessary.
□
Remove original valve.
□
Install the Electric Boost™ Valve in the original valve location with the mechanical override accessible
for use in emergencies.
Torque requirements for reattaching the valve adapters are 34 – 38 FT-LBS for 3" Boost™
o
valves, 60 – 70 FT-LBS for 4" Boost™ valves.

If clocking the valve is required, follow instruction on AKRON BRASS manual 127903
