Restore configuration (Fast Replacement)
If you experience problems with the configuration, a failed firmware update or any other
situation in which the system is no longer functional, it may be necessary to reset the sys-
tem by restoring a different configuration (=Fast Replacement).
With this function, a configuration can be adopted for further systems and therefore simplify
the configuration of further systems.
Typical situations for restoring a configuration:

Configuration of further systems with a similar design

Interruption of the supply voltage during the firmware update
}
Forgotten password
}
Incorrect configuration of the IP address

Report generation
A report can be created for each configuration on the safety laser scanner.
A report includes all the settings that are valid for a configuration.
A report must be checked for correctness and it can be saved as PDF and printed to a con-
nected printer.

Protection against manipulation
The safety laser scanner permanently monitors the environment to detect manipulations in
the workspace or on the safety laser scanner.
Possible consequences of manipulations:

Loss of the safety function,
}
Reduced performance,
}
Operational malfunctions.
If a manipulation indication is detected, the OSSDs switch to the OFF state. The display of
the safety laser scanner shows
If required, monitoring of the environment can be set in the PSENscan Configurator in the
Configure detection capability window.

Monitoring can be completely deactivated.
Select Manipulation protection = Deactivated.
}
Activation of the OFF state can be delayed.
Select Activation delay [s] to activate the OFF state after the configured time has
elapsed, starting from the moment at which the condition is met.
Manipulation protection remains activated.
