Operation
5. Checking the configuration
Display:
RES FAILED. Could not copy the configuration successfully. Continue by selecting the
data for the restoring.
RUN TEST MODE: Select Enter Test on the display. Test operation starts. Continue
with accept or reject configuration.
6. Accept or reject configuration
Test operation is complete.
Select Validate conf to accept the configuration. The safety laser scanner is ready for
operation again.
Select Reject conf to reject the configuration. Continue by selecting the data for the
restoring.
7. Create new configuration in PSENscan Configurator
Display: WAITING CONF
Configure the safety laser scanner in PSENscan Configurator.

Reset

With the reset function, the safety laser scanner can be set to normal operation when the
safety laser scanner is in an error state, and the error was rectified.
Procedure:
Hold the reset pushbutton down for at least 500 s.

Activate rest condition

Prerequisites
}
At least two zone sets are configured.
}
No safety or warning zones are configured in the respective zone set.
Procedure:
1. Select the Configure zone sets window.
Select Rest condition = Activated.
2. The display of the safety laser scanner shows for 30 seconds that the rest condition is
started.
Then the display switches to the energy saving mode and the LEDs will go out.

Deactivate rest condition

Procedure:
1. Select the Configure zone sets window.
Select Rest condition = Deactivated.
2. After approx. 30 seconds the safety laser scanner is again in normal operation.
The display and the LEDs of the safety laser scanner show normal operation.
