Switching of zone sets
For each zone set, a unique combination of signals must be defined at the control inputs.
To prevent unintended switching of the monitored zone sets, two consecutive zone sets
must differ in at least two positions in the assigned signals at the control inputs.
In the PSENscan Configurator the automatic assignment ensures a difference in exactly
two positions.
Pilz recommends that the automatic assignment by the PSENscan Configurator is used.

differentiation to the next monitoring case (Hamming code)
Note:
}
Firmware version from 3.1.5: Switching from one zone set to another takes approx. 60
ms. So the next switchover must not occur until the 60 ms has elapsed.
Ensure that there is a period of min. 60 ms between two switchovers (see diagram).
Within this time, ensure that interference does not influence the inputs and that there is
no unintended change of state.
}
Firmware version < 3.1.5: Switching from one zone set to another takes approx. 250 ms.
So the next switchover must not occur until the 250 ms has elapsed.
Ensure that there is a period of min. 250 ms between two switchovers (see diagram).
Within this time, ensure that interference does not influence the inputs and that there is
no unintended change of state.
