Specific SNMP v1/v2 configuration

Additional SNMP v1 and v2 communities can be created editing the /etc/s-
nmp/snmpd.conf file adding the following line:
rocommunity <community_name>
After modifying the file, restart the SNMP daemon to load the changes.
Alternatively, the groups definition can be modified to create and add com-
munities. For that purpose, the information from the mapping section in /us-
r/share/snmp/snmpd.conf can be used as a reference to modify the
/etc/snmp/snmpd.conf file.

Specific SNMPv3 configuration

By default, there are four created users in the device:

Note:
SNMP credentials reset: The snmpd force- reset command
recreates persistent files but maintains the SNMP parameters sub-
tree
The information in /usr/share/shmp/snmpd.conf is recreated fol-
lowing the saved SNMP sub-tree configuration.

changed through change_password.
