SYSTEM OVERVIEW

Hardware Configuration

The Satcore unit consists in:
- one 2U-high PC-compatible workstation
- one set of electronic boards
Depending on the delivered configuration, the set of electronic boards is as follows:
Electronic boards
Demod 4G
Ana 4G
Ana5
EFC Module
All these electronic boards are shared by the two Zodiac Data Systems product lines, Satcore Series and Cortex
Series, in order to provide to any customer, whatever mission or budget targeted, the best performances and
reliability.
In the case of Satcore Series, the hardware architecture is simplified to perfectly fit with mid-end missions, some
components, such as FPGA or additional analog channels, dedicated to Cortex Series high-end missions, are
removed, and enable to provide a very cost-effective solution.
Note that the position of the boards inside the chassis must not be changed.
