It is a separate software application that communicates with Cortex product through the Cortex TCP/IP interface.

    3.2.4 Cortex Scheduling functionality The Satcore Series embeds a scheduler functionality that provides, through a simple interface, the possibility to program in advance one or several satellite passes. According to the pass plan, the Satcore Scheduler is in charge of monitoring the system time, setting the Satcore with the appropriate satellite configuration, launching data and log recording.
