Desired function
- Fresh air blower -V2 is actuated for
2 secs. at a time at 0 V, 3 V, 6 V, 9
V, 12 V, 15 V, 0 V, etc.
- Blower -V42 (for temperature sen‐
sor installed into -E87) is switched
on and off in 5 sec. Switching inter‐
vals on or off (smoke is sucked up
by blower) 1).
Desired function
- Positioning motor -V68 moves from
stop to stop (fresh air blower is oper‐
ating, air recirculation mode).
Air temperature from the vents
changes.
Desired function
- Positioning motor -V70 moves from
stop to stop (fresh air blower operat‐
ing, air recirculation mode, tempera‐
ture flap set to "cold").
Air distribution switches between foot‐
well and dash panel vents.
- Positioning motor -V85 moves from
stop to stop (fresh air blower operat‐
ing, air recirculation mode, tempera‐
ture flap set to "cold").
Air distribution switches between foot‐
well and defrost.

Use current flow diagram to check the
earth connection to fresh air blower
control unit -J126.

for blockage (=>Page 184

- Check wiring between -V68 and -
