Possible causes of fault
- Short circuit, open circuit in wiring
or fault in pin assignment of con‐
nectors between -G92 and -E87.
Temperature flap stiff.
Potentiometer -G92 in -V68 defec‐
tive
- Short circuit, open circuit in wiring
or fault in pin assignment of con‐
nectors between -G112 and -E87.
Central flap stiff.
Potentiometer -G112 in -V70 defec‐
tive
Possible causes of fault
- Short circuit, open circuit in wiring
or fault in pin assignment of con‐
nectors between -G114 and -E87.
Footwell/defroster flap stiff.
Potentiometer -G114 in -V85 de‐
fective.
- Short circuit, open circuit in wiring
or fault in pin assignment of con‐
nectors between -V85 and
-E87.
Footwell/defroster flap stiff.
Positioning motor -V85 defective.
Fault remedy
- Use current flow diagram to locate
and eliminate short circuit, open cir‐
cuit in wiring or fault in pin assign‐
ment.
Check freedom of movement of tem‐
perature flap3)
Replace positioning motor -V68.
- Use current flow diagram to locate
and eliminate short circuit, open cir‐
cuit in wiring or fault in pin assign‐
