If the Circuit Common terminal is not connected to the frame ground terminal
(for floating measurement), a potential shock hazard may present. Do not
touch any of measurement circuit at any time while a floating measurement is
in progress.

3. Connect the power cable from the instrument to an AC power outlet.
4. Press the Line switch to turn on the instrument.
The initialization screen will appear on the display of the instrument. And the
power-on self-test is automatically executed.
If the instrument is operating correctly, the LCD displays as shown in
3-1.
If a problem occurs, see If You Have a Problem.
5. Press the key, and select CONFIG and UNIT menu. Then make sure that

6. Press the key three times to close the setup menu.
