A50 ATX Power Supply Assembly Replacement
Tools Required
•
TORX screwdriver, T10, T15, and T20
•
torque screwdriver, TORX T10 (set to 7 in-lb)
Removal Procedure
Refer to Figure 6-6 for this procedure.
Step 1. Remove the outer cover as described in "Outer Cover Removal" on page 166.
Step 2. Disconnect the power supply cables for the FDD and HDD.
Step 3. Remove the two TORX T20 screws (item 1) fastening the plate for power supply.
Step 4. Remove the four TORX T10 screws (item 2) from the rear panel.
Step 5. Lift the A50 ATX power supply assembly (item 3) toward front side.
Step 6. Remove the one TORX T10 screw (item 4) from the chassis.
Step 7. Remove the one TORX T10 screw (item 5) from the plate.
Step 8. Remove the plate (item 6) from the chassis.
Step 9. Disconnect the power supply cable from the A10 analog motherboard.
Replacement Procedure
Step 1. Reverse the order of the removal procedure.
NOTE
Fasten the TORX T10 screws (item 2) using a torque screwdriver.
