Parameterisation
2. Set value for the pressure change sample time parameter.
If the system has a high pressure drop, start with a setting of 100 ms, which corresponds to
parameter value 1. This gives the value for the pressure change per 100 ms.
– If there is a lower pressure drop, increase the parameter value for the pressure change sample
time, e.g. to 10, i.e. the pressure change will be displayed every 1 s.
– Vary the value for the pressure change sample time, until you have determined a suitable value
for your system.
3. Switch the energy efficiency module to the blocking state.
4. Record the pressure change values of the selectable input word Em. 5. Am.1 must have the value
0 for this purpose.
A pressure change is a signed value and, when there is a pressure drop, can thus be a negative
value.
5. Generate the value of the pressure change, sign reversal for negative values.
6. Determine the value of the greatest pressure change value.
7. Determine the maximum pressure change value by multiple switching from the pressurise to the
blocking state.
If you have obtained very low values, it may be wise to increase the value for the pressure change
sample time parameter.
8. Specify the derived value, with an added safety tolerance, for the upper limit pressure change
parameter. This will avoid unwanted error messages.
Sample values:
– Pressure change sample time parameter: 1 s
– Upper limit value pressure change parameter:
– Amount of maximum pressure change value: 160 mbar
– Set limit value including safety tolerance: 200 mbar
The pressure change is only monitored in the blocking state.

Stand-alone mode

Use case
The energy efficiency module can also be used as individual device without using the device-specific
network, without network communication. In this case, all parameters must be set exclusively via the
diagnostic interface of the integrated bus node.
After the corresponding parameters have been set once, the auto blocking function is automatically
activated every time the power supply is switched on. After the energy efficiency module has automat-
ically switched to the blocking state, the power supply must be switched off and on, Power OFF/ON, to
reset the pressurise state.
Procedure
The following settings must be made for stand-alone mode at the diagnostic interface of the inte-
grated bus node:
1. Set the system parameters.
– Force mode system parameter: enabled
– System start system parameters: saved parameters
