Consumption

Input signal
The consumption value is based on the prepared measured flow value. The value is processed and
sent as input signal, Em.1, depending on the unit consumption, P8.4-8.5, and flow rate standard,
P8.6-8.7, parameters.
If there is a change to the unit flow rate or unit flow rate standard parameters, the measured
consumption value is reset to the value 0. If there is a change to the unit consumption parameter
value, the current measured consumption value is saved and is converted to the new consumption
unit.
Consumption measurement
Consumption measurement is controlled using two data bits in the output word Am.0. Consumption
measurement is started, continued or stopped with the consumption measurement control bit output,
Am.0.12. The consumption measured value can be reset to the value 0 with the reset consumption
measurement, Am.0.13, output.
Monitoring of parameters
The unit flow rate, P8.2-8.3, flow rate standard, P8.6-8.7, and unit consumption, P8.4-8.5, parameters
are checked at input for permissible values. In case of error, the appropriate error message is output if
parameterisation error monitoring is activated, P0.7.
