Foreseeable misuse

The following are examples of foreseeable misuse and are not approved as intended use:
– Operation outdoors.
– Closure of exhaust ports.
– Shutting off a system as a safety function.
– Use in safety functions:
– The energy efficiency module must not be installed behind an exhaust valve that fulfills a safety
function. This can impair the safety functions installed in the system.
– If the energy efficiency module is installed in front of a safety valve, the design of the layout must
not impair the intended operation of the safety valve and of the system, possibly by installation
of additional safety measures.

Training of qualified personnel

Work on the product may only be carried out by qualified personnel who can evaluate the work and
detect dangers. The qualified personnel have skills and experience in dealing with electropneumatic
(open-loop) control technology.
