7 Installation
7.1

Pneumatic installation

Requirements:
– The product is mounted.
– The connection surfaces are clean. è leakage and contact errors are avoided.
• Connect pneumatic connections 1 and 2.
7.2

Electrical installation

WARNING
Risk of Injury due to Electric Shock.
• For the electric power supply, use only PELV circuits that ensure a reliable electric disconnection
from the mains network.
• Observe IEC 60204-1/EN 60204-1.
• The unit must be powered by a power source that fulfils the requirements of an energy-limited
circuit in accordance with IEC 61010-1/EN 61010-1.
NOTICE
Damage to internal electronics.
Damage to components and malfunctions due to incorrect handling.
• Observe the handling specifications for electrostatically sensitive devices.
Electrical protection
Fuse operating voltage and load voltage separately. Choose the external fuses according to the
application. Take into account the current consumption of connected products in the design and fusing
of the power supply.
Installation
1. Connect the earth terminal.
2. Connect the fieldbus cable.
3. Connect the power supply.
