Connecting the energy efficiency module to the network
1. Connect the bus node to the network with the NECU-MS-D12G4-C2-ET plug.
2. Seal the unused connections with cover caps or blanking plugs to achieve the specified degree of
protection.

Setting DIL switches

NOTICE
Damage to internal electronics.
Damage to components and malfunctions due to incorrect handling.
• Observe the handling specifications for electrostatically sensitive devices.
You can set the following parameters with the DIL switches:
– The mode of operation and the protocol; the energy efficiency module only supports the 'Remote
I/O' operating mode.
– The diagnostics mode.
– The IP addressing.

1. Switch off the power supply.
2. Unscrew the retaining screws of the cover.
3. Remove the cover è 3 DIL switches are visible.
4. Use DIL switch 1 to set the operating mode and protocol.
5. Set the diagnostic mode with DIL switch 2.
