Pausing audio alarms for the M300 from a remote network device

If the Audio pause from remote ICS setting is enabled at the local ICS (see page 214), you can pause
(silence) active audio alarm signals from the following devices:
– Remote ICS
– Bedside monitors in the local monitoring units
When the Audio pause from remote ICS setting is disabled at the local ICS (see page 214), the BedView
Bed audio pause button is unavailable at the remote ICS. In addition, the audio pause
not display in the viewport of the remote ICS Main screen during an alarm.

Pausing alarms for the M300

You can pause all visual and audio alarm signals for the M300 at the ICS with the Alarm pause button in
the menu bar of the BedView page. The alarm pause time can be configured from 1 to 5 minutes. To
configure the alarm pause time, see "Telemetry defaults > Alarms > Device settings tab" on page 214.
To temporarily pause all alarm functions of the M300 from the ICS
 Select the Alarm pause button in BedView.
You can pause all alarm functions at the M300 if configured to do so.
To pause all alarm functions from the M300
1 On the M300, press and hold the
A confirmation message displays on the M300 screen.
2 Use the
buttons to select Yes or No.
3 Press the
key to confirm the selection.
The Alarm pause message and

You cannot initiate an audio pause from the M300 (you can only initiate an alarm pause).
