Operating the MedView camera using the Polaris 600 remote control for
MedView camera
Operating the remote control
The remote control keys are identical to the
camera control keys on the right side of the wall-
mounted control.
1 Select the desired function of the MedView
camera by pressing the relevant key on the
remote control.
– Status LED lights up green: the remote control
is functioning.
– Status LED flashes green: The battery charge
is low. The remote control can only be used for
a short time. To maintain the functioning of the
remote control, the battery must be replaced
immediately, see "Replacing the battery in the
Polaris 600 remote control for MedView
camera" on page 65.
– Status LED does not light: The battery is
completely discharged or faulty. To re-establish
the functioning of the remote control, the
battery must be replaced immediately, see
"Replacing the battery in the Polaris 600
remote control for MedView camera" on page
65.

1 The remote control (A) must be directed at the
IR receiver (B) on the ceiling cover.
– The distance (C) between the remote control
and the IR receiver must not exceed
7 meters.(276 in).
– Up to 2 IR receivers can be installed (optional).
NOTE
The operation of the remote control can be
disturbed by strong incidence of extraneous light
on the IR receiver.If there are objects between
the remote control and the IR receiver, this can
also interfere with the operation of the remote
control.
