Keys of the M300

Key
Function
Depending on the enabled setting at the ICS (see page 205), pressing this key does one of
the following:
– Generates a strip recording and stores an event at the ICS
– Cancels a strip recording that was initiated from the M300
If the Staff alert setting is enabled at the ICS (see page 205), pressing this key does the
following:
– Sends the Staff alert message to the ICS
– Triggers an alarm tone of medium priority at the ICS
Pressing these keys does the following:
– Scrolls through waveforms on the M300 screen
– Increases or decreases a setting in an M300 window
– Turns the M300 on (press both keys longer than 3 seconds)
Pressing this key does one of the following:
– Turns the M300 screen on and off (press and hold the key longer than 3 seconds)
– Scrolls through the Main screen, Lead Status screen, Volume screen, and Demograph-
ics screen
– Cancels standby mode
– Resumes monitoring and displaying the patient data at the M300 after discharge was ini-
tiated from the ICS
– Accepts or confirms user-selected values
If the Alarm pause setting is enabled at the ICS (see page 228), pressing this key does the
following:
– Suppresses alarm monitoring of the corresponding patient at the ICS and at the M300.
The alarm pause period is a pre-configured time of 1 to 5 minutes (press and hold the
key more than 3 seconds if the screen is turned on)
– Cancels an alarm pause in progress. If an alarm condition is present, alarms sound again
immediately
