To turn the M300 off
1 Simultaneously press and hold both arrow keys (A) and (B) for 3 seconds.
2 Select the up arrow to highlight Yes.
3 Press the button to confirm the shutdown.
NOTE
M300/M300+ device settings, including clinical data and current alarm settings, are retained for a maxi-
mum of 2 minutes after the device is powered off. After 2 minutes of no power, the patient is discharged,
and factory default settings are restored.
Telemetry/Parameters dialog window (BedView in ICS)
The Telemetry/Parameters dialog window consists of several setup pages for configuring the M300. The
Telemetry setup button in the Main screen toolbar allows you to make general system-wide default
selections. The Telemetry/ Parameters button in BedView allows you to change the settings of a specific
bed.
To access the Telemetry/Parameters pages
1 Select the Telemetry/ Parameters button on the BedView menu bar.
2 Select one of the following tabs to access the corresponding setup pages:
– Layout/ Parameters

uring Layout, ECG, SpO2, and ST.
– Device setup
See "The Device setup page" on page 226.

The Layout/ Parameters page (in ICS)

The Layout/ Parameters page is used to configure some basic M300 settings. Because it is accessed
from the BedView menu bar, the settings apply only to the selected M300.
To access the Layout/ Parameters page
1 Select the Telemetry/ Parameters button on the BedView menu bar.
2 Select the Layout/ Parameters tab.
The sub-tabs that appear are the same as those that appear when accessing the Layout/ Parameters
tab from the Main screen's menu bar (using the Telemetry defaults button). Although the tab contents
are the same, the BedView contents apply only to the specified M300 device.
