ECG, arrhythmia, and ST segment monitoring with M300

12-lead TruST monitoring

This feature offers real-time assessment of 12-lead ST deviations, with only six electrodes, which provide
eight measured ECG leads and four derived chest leads. The derived leads are identified by adding the
letter 'd' before the lead label. The derived leads are dV1, dV3, dV4, and dV6.
When TruST monitoring is enabled, the V-lead defaults to V2 and the V+ lead defaults to V5. Although you
can select derived leads for display, they are excluded from arrhythmia and QRS processing.
NOTE
TruST monitoring can be enabled only if a 6-lead wire set is used. Note also that no Rest-ECG report can
be generated with 12-Lead TruST ECG.
To enable or disable default TruST monitoring
1 Select the Telemetry defaults button in the ICS Main screen.
If the selection does not appear, it is likely that the Enable M300 option has not been selected. For
more information, see page 207.

4 Do one of the following:
– To enable TruST monitoring, select the On button for TruST 12-lead.
