Pausing audio alarms for the M300

You can pause (silence) all active audio alarm signals for an individual patient at their bedside monitor and
at the ICS using the Bed audio pause button. The Bed audio pause button appears in the parameter
box area of the viewport or in the menu bar of the BedView page.
An audio pause of a bedside monitor at the ICS does the following:
– Pauses all active audio alarm signals for an individual patient at their bedside monitor and at the ICS.
Audio pause is available only for those patients connected to a bedside monitor within the local mon-
itoring units of the ICS whose Bed audio pause selection is enabled. For more information about au-
dio pause, refer to the Instructions for use Infinity CentralStation Wide, Software VG4.0 or later.
– Stops the parameter box/area and header bar from flashing.
After the audio pause period expires, all audio alarm signals resume if the alarm condition is still valid.
NOTE
Pausing the active audio alarm signals of an individual bedside monitor does not affect the audio pause
state of the other bedside monitors or any other local alarms that may be present at the ICS.
To pause all active audio alarm signals of a bedside monitor at its viewport
– In the parameter box area of the viewport of the bedside-monitor patient, select the audio pause
button.
If the viewport audio pause
ICS, or the patient is in a remote monitoring unit, you cannot pause the alarm.
For more information about audio pause, refer to the Instructions for use Infinity CentralStation Wide,
Software VG4.0 or later.
– In the menu bar of the BedView page of the bedside-monitor patient, select the Bed audio pause button.
To pause all active audio alarm signals of a bedside monitor at its BedView page
 In the menu bar of the BedView page of the bedside-monitor patient, select the Bed audio pause button.
This will be displayed by the Audio pause
timer indicates the remaining time of the bedside audio pause period.
