The picture of Aux Send 5 identifies the different parts of each
aux send. The top is the Aux name. If you have changed the
name, the long custom name will appear. Press the IN button to
route signal from the selected channel to the send. Adjust the
aux level as needed using Touch and Spin. The Pre/Post button
is a 3-way switch; each touch advances the location for the Aux
send's signal as follows:
•
indicates the signal source is pre-DSP (pre-DSP, pre-fader/mute).
•
indicates the signal source is pre-fader (post-DSP, pre-fader/mute).
•
indicates the signal source is post-fader (post-DSP, post-fader/mute).
In the figure to the right, Aux 5 is set for pre-DSP. Aux 11 is set for pre-fader. Aux
17 is set for post-fader.
Group send 23 is designated a group send (Aux/Group button), thus its name
says grp 23 and is colored green. A custom name will again be displayed, if
present. Because it is a group send, there is no level control or pre/post indica-
tor, just an IN button.
To the right are the Internal EFX sends. They are always post-fader, thus the
pre/post indicator is not changeable and it always displays post fader. A custom
name will again be displayed, if present, otherwise the default name will be
shown. The IN button engages that send.
For stereo linked aux sends, the aux sends convert to a level/pan control pair.
The odd numbered control becomes the level control and the even-numbered con-
trol becomes the pan control. See Section 12.3 for details on stereo linked sends.
For stereo linked groups, there is simply a linked IN button.

Aux/Groups Edit Menu
The Aux/Groups Edit menu has the following commands:

• Reset Aux/Groups — Resets all Aux/Groups to OFF
• Reset Effects Sends — Resets all EFX sends to OFF
• Copy — Copies the channel settings to the clipboard
• Paste — Pastes the settings from the clipboard
• Adjust Pre/Post State for All Sends — Accesses a dialog that allows setting the pre/post state for any aux send
