EAW UMX.96 Owner's Manual
• Insert Post EDIT button — Post-DSP digital insert point. Touching the EDIT button accesses the Inserts
screen, the same as touching the Inserts tab. The readout below the button displays the name of the
selected insert device.
• Mute Groups — Eight buttons that assign the selected matrix to any of the eight mute groups.
• VCA Groups — Sixteen buttons that assign the selected matrix to any of the sixteen VCA groups.
• Mute ON button — Enables the matrix channel mute.
• Solo ON button — Sends the matrix channel's signal to the solo bus.
• Fader – The matrix channel fader. The readout below the knob on the touchscreen displays the fader
value in dB.
• Output Delay IN button — Enables the alignment delay for the matrix. Parameters are adjusted in the
Delay tab.
• Output Level bargraph — Level meter that displays the pre-fader level of the matrix.
12.2.34.1 Matrix Overview Edit Menu
The Matrix Overview screen's Edit menu has the following commands:

• Save Channel Preset As — Saves the matrix channel's settings as a preset under a user defined name.
• Load Channel Preset — Loads a previously saved preset.
• Reset Channel — Returns the channel to its defaults.
• Reset EQ — Resets the parametric EQ to its defaults (all bands flat, 80 Hz, 500 Hz, 2 kHz, 10 kHz.
• Reset Compressor — Resets the compressor to its defaults (Threshold to –24 dBFS, Ratio to 1:1, Attack to
15 ms, Release to 200 ms, Gain to 0 dB).
• Reset RTA31 — Resets the graphic equalizer to all bands flat.
• Reset Inserts — Removes all inserts from this channel.
• Copy — Copies this channel's settings to the clipboard.
• Paste — Pastes the clipboard to this channel.

Matrix Input Mixer Tab
The source for each output of the Matrix is the Input Mixer. The input mixer is a 16x1 mono mixer. Choose each
input source by touching the input source display over each fader. This brings up the Channel Select pop-up
screen.
