Aux/Groups Area

This area contains 24 V-Pots, one for each aux/group send for the selected channel. Make the aux/group
choice from the Aux/Group setup screen or by pressing Shift+ button in the Channel Assign area (see Sec-
tions 8.2.3.1 and 12.3 for details).
Each V-Pot has a blue LED at the bottom left and green LED at the bottom right that tells whether that send
is configured as an aux (blue) or a group (green).
The V-Pot knob allows control of the aux send level but has no function for groups. The LEDs will show the
level of the aux send corresponding to labeling around the V-Pot. Since groups have no send level control,
the V-Pot LEDs light in a unique manner to remind you that the send that you are looking at is not an aux
send (the left, right, and top LEDs in the ring are lit). The V-Pot button turns the aux/group send from the
channel on or off, which is indicated by the bottom V-Pot LED.
Output channels do not have aux/group sends so these controls will have no function when an aux/group
1-24 master, matrix 1-8, or LR+C/M channel is selected.
Holding Shift and pressing any of the 24 aux/group V-Pot buttons puts this area into Master Mode where
each of the V-Pots will instead control the master level control for its send. These are the same levels that are
under control of the faders on the AUX/GRP 1-24 Channel Bank. The amber LEDs for the four corner controls
(1, 12, 13, 24) pulse to indicate this mode. Exit Master Mode by again holding SHIFT and pressing any V-Pot
button. Master mode is retained as you select a different channel for control in the selected channel. It can
be very useful for monitor engineers who spend the entire show in Aux Mode as it allows them to keep the
master send levels readily available without using up a bank of 24 faders.

Effects Area

This area contains four V-Pots, one for each internal effects send. These are the level controls for each send
from the selected channel.
Like the aux send described above, the V-Pot knob allows control of the effect send level. The LEDs will show
the level of the effect send corresponding to labeling around the V-Pot. The V-Pot button turns the effect
send from the channel on or off, which is indicated by the bottom V-Pot LED.
Similar to aux sends, output channels do not have effects sends so these controls will have no function when
an aux/group 1-24 master, matrix 1-8, or L-R, C/M channel is selected. In addition, an effects return cannot
send signal to its own effects send so if an effects return 1-4 is selected, its corresponding effects send V-Pot
will have no function.
