VCA Channel Assignment Tab

The Assignments Tab is one way to assign and unassign channels to a VCA . It provides a view of many chan-
nels at once, from the standpoint of a single VCA master. You can also look at the assignment situation from
the other direction, to which VCA masters a given source is assigned, by going to the overview screen for
that source channel.
Use the VCA CHANNEL SELECTION buttons 1-16 at the top to choose the VCA master to be edited. The As-
signed Channel Overview list on the right shows all channels currently assigned to that VCA. To add/remove
a channel, use the CHANNEL BANK SELECTION buttons below the VCA select buttons to choose the source
bank of the channel you wish to add/remove. Then simply check/uncheck a channel in the Bank Channel
Assignment list to add/remove it from the VCA. Repeat as necessary.
Example
To assign a channel to one of the VCAs via this screen:
1.
Choose a VCA channel (VCA CHANNEL SELECTION).
2.
Choose the channel bank that contains the channel(s) that you want to add to the VCA group.
3.
Check the boxes for the channels that you want to add to the VCA. Repeat for other channels and banks.
There is no limit to the number of channels you can assign to a VCA.
