Polarity Invert Button

The light blue INV Channel Assign button allows for individual channel activation of 180
degree polarity inversion, which is available on all mono input channels. Press the AS-
SIGN button for the channel to turn polarity invert on or off. The scribble strip displays
the channel name on the top line and the word pol on the bottom.
On stereo channels, pressing the ASSIGN button toggles through different inversion
states for the two inputs (No Invert, L Invert, R Invert, L and R Invert). This is temporarily
displayed on the top line of the scribble strip each time the ASSIGN button is pressed.
The ASSIGN button lights if either channel is inverted from the opposite stereo channel
and it does not light if the polarity setting of the two channels is the same.
Holding CTRL and pressing the INV Channel Assign button disables polarity invert on
all channels.

PAN Button

The light blue PAN Channel Assign button allows individual channel panning to L-R
or LCR dependent on the console mode of operation (see Section 9.6 and 12.10.1.1 for
more about panning mode). All channels except those aux/groups masters configured
as auxes, matrix masters, and the main Left, Right, Center/Mono have channel panning.
The V-Pot knob adjusts the channel pan while pressing the ASSIGN button has no func-
tion. The scribble strip displays the channel name on the top line until the V-Pot knob is
rotated; then it briefly displays the pan setting numerical value. The bottom line of the
scribble strip displays the word pan (or bal on stereo channels).
Holding CTRL and pressing the PAN Channel Assign button resets all channel panning
to center.
