Aux/Group Button

Access the Aux/Group setup screen by pressing the Aux/Group navigation button at the bottom of the
screen. This screen configures the aux/group buses for either Aux or Group operation.
The UMX.96 is a shared group/aux console. There are 24 Aux/group sends; you select which ones are groups,
which ones are auxes, and which ones are stereo-linked. You can have 24 Aux sends, or 24 Group sends, or
any combination of auxes and groups that adds to 24.
A toggle switch on the Aux/Group setup screen selects Aux mode or Group mode for each bus. Changing
the mode will prompt you for confirmation as changing the mode will reset all the channel sends for that
bus to its defaults. For auxes, this means all channel sends will be assigned pre-fader with levels down,
where groups will all be unassigned.
Auxes or groups can be stereo linked in adjacent odd-even pairs by en-
abling the corresponding LINK button. Linking 1-2 is okay. Linking 1-4 or 2-
3 is not possible. Linking copies the DSP settings for the odd-numbered bus
over the even-numbered bus and the even numbered send level control
from the channels becomes a pan control, giving true stereo sends.
