EAW UMX.96 Owner's Manual
The Recall command recalls the current snapshot (following the current snapshot filtering, Section 12.14.2)
to the console.
The STORE command saves the current state of the console into the currently selected snapshot slot. When
storing, the snapshot is automatically named "Snapshot #" where number is replaced with the slot number.
The snapshot can then be renamed if you choose to do so.
• If the current snapshot slot already contains a snapshot, a safety dialog asks for confirmation. Press the
Confirm button on the dialog or simply press STORE again on the console
• INSERT stores the current state of the console into the current snapshot location shifting all other snap-
shots and empty slots down to make room. In the unlikely case that there is already a snapshot in the last
slot (299), a warning appears telling you that this operation will delete Snapshot 299.. You can choose to
delete the snapshot or cancel the insert operation.
• The DELETE button deletes the current snapshot moving all subsequent snapshots up in the list. You will
NYI
be prompted for confirmation before the Delete is performed.
• CLEAR resets the current snapshot, setting it to "empty". You will be prompted for confirmation before the
Clear is performed.
• Move Up moves the current snapshot up the list, swapping positions with the one above it, even if the
NYI
slot above it is empty.
NYI
• Move Down operates in a similar fashion to Move Up.
You can preview the selected snapshot with the preview button; this is identical to the preview available in
the Preview and Update tab except it applies to the currently selected snapshot on the overview screen and
console. See Section 12.15 for details.
When a snapshot is recalled with a cross fade, you can choose to instantly jump to the pre cross fade state
NYI
(via a dialog box), which cancels the recall. From this dialog, you can also jump to the end snapshot state,
thus changing all the parameters to the final snapshot no matter how long the cross fade time was set. This
is very useful if you set a long cross fade but the band changed much quicker than usual and you need to
jump to the final post cross fade preset. Pressing RECALL from the control surface in the middle of the cross
fade also achieves the same thing and jumps the cross fade to the end.
A lock column associated with each snapshot can be pressed to lock and unlock snapshots for protection
NYI
and editing. When enabled, this prevents clearing or overwriting the contents of the selected snapshot. At-
tempting to clear or overwrite a locked snapshot results in an error message.
