Snapshot Overview

The Overview screen is the default view. It displays a vertical list of all snapshots in the currently loaded
show in the console memory (see Section 12.12.3 for transferring shows between the computer and live
console memory). The columns in this list are: Number, Name, Time Code, Fade Time, and Lock. The cur-
rently selected snapshot is highlighted. The vertical row of buttons at the left of the list represents the list
options for the current selection.
• Touch a snapshot name in the list to select it and use the vertical scroll bar to view all available snapshots.
Any empty snapshot slots display "---" while full snapshots display "Snapshot n" (by default) where n is the
corresponding snapshot number.
• A snapshot may also be given a unique name. Do this by touching a snapshot and pressing the "Edit
Name" button on the touchscreen. Give the snapshot a name via the on-screen keyboard. Touch OK to
finish or Cancel to abort the renaming process. See Section 12.10.7 for mor information on using the on-
screen keyboard.
• The "EDIT TIMECODE" button displays a number keypad for entering a time code for the currently select-
NYI
ed snapshot. The UMX.96 accepts MIDI Time Code, which can be used to trigger a snapshot. You enable
this function using the global Chase Time Code setting under the Setup>MIDI tab and Section 12.10.4.
• The "EDIT X-FADE" button sets the crossfade time value for the selected snapshot. with the on-screen
NYI
number pad between 0.0 and 10.0 seconds in increments of 0.5 seconds to fade into the selected snap-
shot when recalled. This fades all continuous parameters. Binary parameters change at the end of the fade
in the recall priority listed below.
