There is a plug socket (1) at the front of each 4.9 m (16 ft)
section Figure 4-63.
For transport, the sockets are covered with protective caps.

Establishing a Connection
•
Connect the cable of the 10.1 m (33 ft) section to the
socket of the second 4.9 m (16 ft) section at the front.
•
Connect the cable of the 4.9 m (16 ft) section to the
socket at the main boom.
Disconnecting
•
Detach the electrical connection between 10.1 m (33 ft)
and 4.9 m (16 ft) section.
•
Detach the electrical connection between 4.9 m (16 ft)
section and main boom head.
•
Prepare the electrical connections at the 10.1 m (33 ft)
section for transport.
At the 27.1 m (89 ft) Jib

Connect the cable of the 10.1 m (33 ft) section to the
socket of the second 4.9 m (16 ft) section at the front.
•
Connect the cable of the second 4.9 m (16 ft) section to
the socket of the first 4.9 m (16 ft) section at the front.

This section describes only the unfolding and folding of the
deflection sheave on the 4.9 m (16 ft) section.
For work with the jib, you must fold out the deflection sheave
on the rear 4.9 m (16 ft) section.

Connect the cable of the first 4.9 m (16 ft) section to the
socket at the main boom head.
Detach the electrical connection between the 10.1 m
(33 ft) and front 4.9 m (16 ft) section.
Detach the electrical connection between the two 4.9 m
(16 ft) sections.
Detach the electrical connection between the rear 4.9 m
(16 ft) section and the main boom head.
Prepare the electrical connections at the 4.9 m (16 ft)
section for transport.
Prepare the electrical connections at the 10.1 m (33 ft)
section for transport.

Pull the pin (2) out of the bore (3) (Figure 4-64).
Fold the deflection sheave on the strut (1) upwards until
the locking positions are aligned with the bore hole (3).
