6-3-4. Error Codes

When the GY-2120 under the normal operation detects a trouble, the error code is displayed on LCD.
The error code is indicates the description of the error by a figure of 4 digits.
It means as follows:

Description of error code and their remedies are as follows:
Error code Description
0001 A tape which was not unloaded
0002 A tape which was not formated
0003 SCSI bus reset is executed during the SCSI sequence.
0004 Subcode area is broken.
0005 Data in phase was interrupted.
0006 Data out phase was interrupted.
0007 End of logical volume is reached.
0008 Block management table is broken.
0009 Parity error occurs at SCSI bus.
000C Overflow into volume management table.
000D Made to recover unrecorded volume on VSIT area.
00E0 The tape is ejected while updating the firmware from the tape.
1x1B Failed download to the SYS CPU or SV CPU.
1x23 Read/write to tape is not completed correctly even if the regular retry
is executed.
1x24 When tape read/write started, servo lock failes.
1x25 During tape read or write, servo lock lost.
1x26 Tape positioning error occured.
1x28 Failed in resetting the ID for starting READ/WRITE.
1x29 Detected change in ID during READ/WRITE.
1x3A The DATA READY signal at the start of transfer was waited, but time-out
occurred.
1x3B When tape READ/WRITE started, READ ID failes.
1x3C There is an area that ID was not recoreded in READ operation.
1x3D There is an area that CTL was not recoreded.
1x41 Parity error occurred at the memory while the data sent from the memory to
the DPR.
1x42 Parity error occurred at the DPR while the data sent from the memory to the
DPR.
1x43 Parity error occurred at the DPR while the data sent fthe memory from the
DPR.
1x44 Parity error occurred at the memory while the data sent fthe memory from
the DPR.
1x45 1bit error occurred in the memory and it was corrected..
