4. Turn the Power On
5. Play Back the Alignment Tape
Play back the YR2-1 alignment tape (IDR: 0 to
72000). (FWD mode)
6. Check the Drum Head Height
(1) Press [F8] key of the enter the tracking
adjustment mode.
(Refer to Section 1-10-5.)
(2) Operate the tracking volume control from the
PC so that the output level of RF (REC C) is
maximum. This level RF (REC C) max
(called "A") is as 100%.
(3) Operate the tracking volume control from the
PC so that the output level of RF (REC A) is
maximum. At this time, check the output
level of RF (REC C) (called "C") satisfies the
specification.
Spec. : "C" > 0.85 x "A"
Perform this check after replacing the upper drum
assembly. If not to meet the specification, rein-
stall the upper drum assembly. (Refer to Section
3-3-1.)
(4) Press [F8] key of the PC to exit the tracking
adjustment mode.
