DECT Handset Configurator Tool
DECT Handset Configurator tool installation
Run setup.exe to install the DECT Handset Configurator tool. The installer automatically
installs .NET Framework 4.0 and MDAC 2.8 from the internet if they are not already installed.
If you have no network connection, these components can be downloaded and installed in
advance. They can be found at http://www.microsoft.com.

Main operations

DECT Handset configuration data can be created and saved to an image file using the DECT
Handset Configurator tool, or copied from a MEM card.

The following operations can be performed with an image file:

Creating a new image file using the DECT Handset Configurator tool
Handset configuration data can be saved to an image file using the DECT Handset
Configurator tool. The image file is a set of DECT Handset parameters that can be applied to
the handset configuration.
To create your DECT Handset configuration file, perform the following steps:
1. Open the DECT Handset Configurator tool and click File > New.
2. Enter all required parameters as described in

Note:
It is not necessary to prepare different configuration files for different handset
types. Non-applicable settings are ignored by the handset if they are not
supported; for example, Messaging settings are ignored by the 4027 DECT
Handset.
