Long Term Storage

General
Before and after placing the system into storage for an extended period of time, steps must be taken

Make sure that the UPS battery is fully charged.
2.
Unplug all external cabling and store it together with the equipment.
3.
Cover camera and monitors with protection covers.
4.
Store equipment in a dry place with a temperature between 21°C (70°F) to 30°C (86°F).

Clean the equipment (see page 120).
2.
Fully recharge UPS battery (see page 31).
3.
Start system and verify correct function before using it for surgery (see page 88).

Contact Brainlab support to remove the UPS Battery from the equipment.
2.
Unplug all external cabling and store it together with the equipment.

4.
Store equipment in a dry place with a temperature between 21°C (70°F) to 30°C (86°F).
