Straps Position
b. Make sure that the straps do not pinch or crush the cables attached to the controller.
Refer to Figure 1-3.
Check Cables
Use the lift device to apply enough upward force on the straps to remove the slack, but
do not lift the controller at this time.
Place the ratchet strap around top of the controller, while you hold the four ends of the
webbed straps. Do not tighten the ratchet strap at this time.
NOTE:
The ratchet strap makes sure that the controller does not tilt when the controller
is lifted.
Place cloth or other cushioned material between the ratchet strap and the controller to
keep the finish of the controller free from rubs and scratches. Refer to
