10.16 Number of Zones in the System

It could be necessary to add or remove zones to an current mold setup. If the mold that is
running has less control zones than those listed on the Altanium controller screen, users can
remove the unused zones so they are not shown.
To change the number of zones in the system, do the steps that follow:

10.17 Standby Timer Settings

To decrease the temperatures in the mold for a specified period of time, set the standby
timers related with each standby function. When the system enters standby, the timer starts.
When the timer completes, the temperatures increase back to the setpoint.

10.17.1 Set the Manual Standby Duration Timer

The zone temperature decreases for a specified time duration or until it gets to a set standby
temperature.
To set the Manual Standby Duration Timer, do the steps that follow:

10.17.2 Set the Remote Standby Duration Timer

The zone temperature decreases for a specified time duration or until it gets to a set remote
standby temperature.
NOTE:
Number of Zones in the System
From the Home screen, touch the Zone Slot button.
Touch the zones that will be enabled or disabled.
Touch the Slot Enable field.
Touch the Enable or Disable button.
Reboot the Altanium controller.
On the System Setup screen, touch the Heats Setup tab and then touch the Control
Page 1 tab.
Touch the Manual Standby Duration Timer field that is below Manual Standby and
Boost.
Enter the time requirement in this format: HHMMSS.
Touch the Accept button.
If the remote standby feature is not installed on the system, only the Manual Standby
Duration Timer setting is shown on the screen.
