Inspiratory Trigger (Insp.Trigger)

The inspiratory trigger setting defines the patient's effort required to initiate a ventilator
assisted breath.
When the patient starts a breath, an increasing flow is created in the patient circuit. If
the patient's effort reaches the set inspiratory trigger level an inspiration is initiated. If
the patient cannot trigger a breath, the ventilator will deliver breaths according to the
set Breath Rate.
The Assisted breath modes in PCV are turned off if the inspiratory trigger is set to Off.
