Preparation

Remove the top plate assembly. (Refer to

Remove the KY-666 board.
(1) Disconnect the FPC BD-KY board from the connector (CN666) on the KY-666 board.
Note
Carefully open or close the open/close section of CN666 because it is likely to be damaged.
(2) Peel the tape (LED).
(3) Remove the two screws (M2 x 2.7) and remove the KY-666 board and the insulating sheet.

Note
• When installing the KY-666 board, fit the two bosses with the two holes in the KY-666 board.
• When replacing the KY-666 board, attach the tape (LED) which is removed from the old set to the same
position of the new parts.

Install the removed parts by reversing the steps of removal.
Note
After the work is completed, make skew adjustment. (Refer to
PDW-HD1550
