To solve these problems, this section describes the lenses cleaning method using the dedicated fixture.
Note
Before starting cleaning, check the package version of the PDW-HD1550. Unless the following requirements are met,
the lenses in the optical block assembly cannot be cleaned.
• Package version: 1.63 or later
Required Equipment/Tools
• Lens cleaning (4G) assembly: part number A-2201-232-A
- Lens cleaning base (4G)
- Cleaner retainer (4G)
- Dropper
- Lens cleaner (bag): Contains 100 lens cleaner bags
Note
• Do not reuse used lens cleaner.
• Be sure to use lens cleaner. Do not use cotton swabs or similar.
Tip
When lens cleaner has been exhausted, order the following lens cleaner (bag).
Lens cleaner (bag): part number A-2203-499-A
• Tweezers
• Pure water
Note
To prevent adhesion of impurities contained in liquid and raise the lens contamination removing efficiency, be sure
to use pure water without using tap water (drinking water) or cleaning fluid.
