Remove the cleaner retainer (4G) and check that the lens cleaners are attached to the lens cleaning base (4G) as
shown below. If the lens cleaners are not present at the normal position, retry steps from step 3.
Before attachment

Drip two drops of pure water on each of the four lens cleaners attached on the WET side using a dropper.
Note
If excessive pure water is dripped, the optical drive assembly is wetted with pure water, which may result in a
failure. Be careful not to drip pure water excessively.

Align the location holes of the lens cleaning base (4G) with the cartridge positioning bosses on the optical drive.
