Display the maintenance menu. (Refer to 4-1-2.)

Select "VIDEO OUT LEVEL".

[VIDEO OUT LEVEL]

Check that level A of the white signal of COMPOSITE OUTPUT 1 output meets the specification. If level A does
not meet the specification, adjust it .
Tip
Both COMPOSITE OUTPUT 1 and COMPOSITE OUTPUT 2 (SUPER) are modified by "A20 : VPR VR" menu
at the same time.
5.
Perform the following procedure to check the COMPOSITE OUTPUT 2 (SUPER) connector output .
(1) Connect the COMPOSITE OUTPUT 2 (SUPER) connector to the analog composite waveform monitor as
shown below.

(2) Check that level A of the white signal of COMPOSITE OUTPUT 2 (SUPER) output meets the specification.
If level A does not meet the specification, adjust it.
Note
"A20 : VPR VR" menu acts on both COMPOSITE OUTPUT 1 and COMPOSITE OUTPUT 2 (SUPER).
Make the adjustment so that both outputs meet the specification at the same time.
6.
Press the [F1 (RETURN)] button once to exit "A20 : VPR VR".
Saving the adjustment data
Perform the following procedure only when Output Level Adjustment is performed.
1.
Select "A2F : NV-RAM CONTROL" and execute "SAVE ALL ADJUST DATA".
When data has been successfully saved, "Save Complete" appears in the menu screen.
Note
To load the pre-adjustment data without saving the adjustment data, execute "ALL DATA PREVIOUS."
2.
Exit the maintenance menu.
